Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a system of integrative medicine that involves the use of needles to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

Jake is a graduate of SUNY Cortland with Magna Cum Laude Honors, Exercise Science B.S. He competed on the SUNY Cortland Track and Field Team as a Decathlete/Sprinter. After Cortland, Jake decided to pursue Massage Therapy at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2018. With his education from Cortland and CNW, Jake has a deep understanding of biomechanics and muscular function. He has been a Personal Trainer for 5 years and a Massage Therapist for over 3 years. Jake aims to use all of his experiences in the Wellness industry to develop appropriate treatment and strengthening plans to maximize the results and lasting change in his patients.

Kristi graduated from Columbia Greene Community College with an Associate degree in Applied Science and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002. Kristi predominantly works in pain management and has acquired numerous certifications throughout her career, making her proficient in treating the populations of geriatrics, cancer (specifically breast cancer) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome/ Human Immunodeficiency Virus (AIDS/HIV). Through her varying therapeutic techniques in bodywork, Kristi sets out to relieve her patients from long term pain. Kristi’s patients have lovingly nicknamed her “The Knot Doctor”.

Brian founded Dynamic Wellness New York in 2017. He was trained through the rigorous curriculum at The Center for Natural Wellness and Massage Therapy located in Albany, NY and a Massage Therapist since 2017. In addition to his formal training in Sports Massage, Medical Massage, Swedish Massage, Cupping, Chair Massage and RockTape/RockBlades, he also has over seven years of training and coaching experience in CrossFit. Brian attended the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Bloomfield, New Jersey where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture in 2021. He also received his Doctorate of Acupuncture degree at the Pacific College of Health and Science in 2022.

As the daughter of an Acupuncturist, Tina’s appreciation for Acupuncture and Chinese medicine began very early on. Her positive results with Acupuncture fueled her desire to become an Acupuncturist herself and share the healing benefits of eastern medicine with her patients. She obtained her Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Bloomfield, New Jersey and her Doctorate of Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, California. Tina is a board-certified diplomate by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine and is certified in oncology acupuncture through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
